Does anyone remember a thread with great graphical illustrations in punnet squares that depicted B/B/S pairings and whatnot to show what the expected offspring coloring ratios would be? Someone made awesome pics and it was very easy to understand.

I'd love a link!

Work with it a bit and you will become an expert with Punnett Squares. This will do multiple traits. Be patient it takes some time for the page to load.

The only problem is that you have to know what the gene symbols represent. If you do not know, just post a question about the gene symbol.

When doing sex linked traits ( the first yellow group) you have to use a dash ( -) for the females second gene. Females can only contribute one sex linked gene to the offspring.

Bl bl+ = blue

bl+ bl+= not blue

Bl Bl = splash

No, there was a thread where someone had put together fabulous graphical depictions I want to use for my kids.

I wish I'd bookmarked it!
