50 euros a bird! I would give up too!!!!! lol Is blackhead a problem in your area? Where I live, it is not and raise all my turkeys with chickens. I always hatch chickens or guineas with them to teach them to eat and drink. I use a chicken hen in all their grow out pens when they come out of the brooder. I have all my pens on a watering system with chicken nipples so the hens show them how to drink. I hope your other 2 turn out OK.

I used to have trouble with my poults dying even after waiting til 8 weeks to put them on dirt. I built two brooders that are 6x4x3 out of scraps I have laying around and keep them on wire until they are like 16 weeks just to be on the safe side. The brooders are covered with a tarp or tin and have a light in them for when it's cold out. Poults are more sensitive to everything than chicks are. Just keep them up a while longer before putting them on dirt.
