Same here, I'm already paying so much for the scratch. I bought some white leghorn eggs someone had there and they are hatching.

I wish LC would buy chicks local though. Well they did for me, but I got a feather legged cornish X.

I buy scratch at the co-op in Loudon. $8something per bag.

Is it as good as the stuff they have at LC? Or is it the producer's pride in a co-op bag?

Yeah, its just the cheap stuff. I just throw it for the birds in the morning, so works fine for that.

I might have to go back to that since I'm gonna go broke on the quail feed. $4.00 in 3 days!

I need feed this weekend....i'm afraid to know what it is now! It was 11.99....then went to 12.99. Any more than maybe 13.99 and I will go back to the co-op. Good thing I'm downsizing......

I had to buy chick starter the other day.....got the dumor 20% for $13.50. Felt like a bargain! LOL
