I'm so excited! the 4th is working his way out now!

I was really worried due to how our mailman handled them, so Im pleased.

My son asked this morning how I knew it was a boy before they even hatch!

I told him it's just a figure of speach. LOL!

I too have had eggs shipped via the mail, and you have no idea if they are even going to hatch!! So it is even more exciting when they do start in with the zipping, half expecting none to hatch. Can't wait for the pics!!

Well..
one was being pokey, so I hoped I'd get my errands ran before he got out. No such luck, he hatched while we were gone. so that's four now!
It's a slightly diff. color, maybe cinnamon.

I got the photos into the puter , and need to get them organized. Also need to get out and work on aviary while there still some light. lol...

twocrows... for alot of reasons, I wont go into here, I'm pretty sure it was our mail man that was rough with the box. Several eggs had broke. :-( It was our once a week sub, and I know how he is! just a nasty person all around.

So... to see babies is a miracle in it's self. 7 eggs left, and hoping

for the best!

The Coturnixe eggs are getting more jumpy, i'm wondering if they are hearing the buttons and getting excited?

Us zoo keepers should have one! LOL! I think it's time for a treat!

I'm ordering a bunch of chicken eggs this weekend, and will keep a few for us and sell the rest. I plan on getting alot of use out of this bator!

I cannot stand the postal workers sometimes! A package got to me 2 weeks after I ordered (eggs unfortunately) I will give them a chance but some broke and

Thankfully the eggs I needed for projects arrived in an "ok" time period. We got to make due. I double box these eggs so it horrifies me when I get a photo to send to insurance that looks like a truck drove over it!!!!

Not to "hijack" this post, but Quail Lady, what type of quail is that in your avatar? And do you sell eggs of that type of quail? Boy, he/she sure is pretty!
