I got a baby!!!! Have a ?? though.....

I have 8 eggs, 2 cochins & 6 silkies one of the cochins just hatched, and he is moving all over knocking the other eggs around, is that ok??

I'll post pictures in a bit.

This little beast went from pipping around 11:00 this morning to hatching about 5 minutes ago (3:05). Fast little sucker!!

Yes, your new chick will knock all the other eggs around.. It looks bad but they will be fine.

I am going to try the egg carton method on this hatch to see how it works I have read some great feedback about it.
