I got a brown egg with purple speckles. Not normal for my chickens, but I have a variety of breeds . What breed is producing these eggs?

I have multiple breeds of chickens and guinea and trying to figure out which breed is laying which eggs. I got a different brown egg with purple speckles . Never before got this before..

Welcome to BYC. Do you have pictures of the eggs?

I have langshans that lay light brown, almost pink eggs with purple speckles & I have a welsummer that lays a darker egg with purple/red speckles.
Do you have either of these breeds?
It may also be related to calcium intake.

I have a Rhode Island Red who sometimes lays brown eggs with light purple speckles. I believe the speckles depend on how much calcium they get because she does not always lay them... sometimes the speckles are dark brown.

It's more of an individual thing than a breed thing.
