Woohoo..the first two chicks are working on zipping. I don't see a pip on the third egg yet, but keeping fingers crossed for all 3 chicks.

I have 2 more rumpie eggs going in the hatcher on Friday, so hopefully a couple more.

Did I say these girls did not want to let that lavender boy breed whatsoever!

I am amazed to get any chicks from these gals. They are feisty ones, but awesome size and nice blue eggs. Come on chickies! I can't wait to see you.

Now you've reminded me to check my bator for pips on my hatch for Steffpeck. I've put it out of my mind all day long while running errands and building the coop and now I'm forced to go look.

I'm not sure yet, but I don't think so. It's still pretty goopy and I can't usually tell until I feel for the tail bone.

The 3rd egg is pipped! It's pipped high, so I'm worried. The other two pipped perfect, so I don't understand why this one is like that. Hopefully she'll still make it out ok.

eta - katrina, I won't open the hatcher until they're finished. I should have pics tomorrow morning for ya.
