All 3 hatched!

I feel 2 tails and the 3rd appears rumpless so far. That's a start! This is going to be a sloooowwww project. Let's hope the next 2 eggs that are due on Monday are both rumpless.

We're on our way. The first 3 chicks are doing well and one of those is definitely rumpless. Another rumpless split lav araucana hatched this morning!

I am hoping the other egg hatches too.

I'll post pics when I move them to the brooder.

We have a couple more small hatches on these rumpies this month. What a slow go this project has been, but we now have tufted and rumpless progeny carrying the lavender gene, so we're half way towards having tufted rumpless lavender birdies.
