This was my first time hatching chicks sooo its very eggsiting for me!!!
I went to check on my eggs at 6:34pm and to my very astonishment, I saw a pip!!!! I was very surprised... Happy Surprise cuz I was getting to worry they weren't going to hatch.. SOOOOO freaking eggsiting!!!

its small, but it's something!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how long its gonna take for the little guy/girl to get out. i also want to know what number he/she is...

oooooo. now it's getting to the action part...

Congratulations!!

(Now don't be surprised when your new "hatchee" rearranges your neatly arranged incubator. It took me totally by surprise the first time. Moved EVERYTHING!!)

I love the cupcake paper thingys!

Thanks... I stole... sorry I meant borrowed the idea from another member. my mom was like "you should have put the eggs closer together like in a egg. perhaps if one moved the other would feel it and pip along." i don't think it works like that.

That is so exciting! Some chicks will be out within the hour, and some take up to a full day. Just be patient (funny, right?), check in on him occasionally, and get that brooder ready!

LilMissChz - x2!!! The first one out will certainly rearrange for you and roll everyone around a bit. Then he'll fall asleep. Then he'll run around a bit more, perhaps try to "help" a buddy hatch, and fall asleep again.
