Hi Jill and Spice. Welcome to BYC. I love Silkies too. They are very hard until they are about maybe 9 weeks old. They do not like it cold at all. They love heat lamps, but not to close to them. And they HATE RAIN and getting wet! LOVE the SUN and dirt! HATE BEING ALONE! GOOD LUCK!
