hello all
So last week i was doing my normal chicken serach on craigslist for more chickens well instead i found a 1 year old peacock named tater. So i was like why not so drove an hr away picked up tator and brought him home.Well i wasnt thinking but i didnt have anywhere to put tater so he ended up going in the chicken coop and i moved the girls to the outsdie run with a smaller coop .So couple days ago we finally got a peacock coop and run built then he was ready to be moved to his new home.Well it didnt go well at all i picked him up and he freaked out he smacked me in the face with a wing and took off .So i was in a panic he ran and i didnt know what to do...so i went after him he was on top of the shed the barn and then finally ened up in the top of a tree...So i stood with a flashlight and watched him forever casue i wasnt gonna leave till he was in the coop for the night.the boyfriend called and he was willing to come over to help with the catching of tator So he found a long enough board to reach tator and kinda help him out of the tree then we caught him in a net and got him in the new peacock run it was a very eventful night but glad it turned out the way it did ...ive attached a few pictures of tator and his new home
