Check it out - isn't it GORGEOUS!!!! Im so excited!
So now that we have one - and these birds were all born at the same time - can I safely assume that the others will kick in fairly quickly? Also - do I need to put more light on them? It starts getting light out about 6:30 and completely dark by about 6:30.

usually when one hen lays, the others will pick up. You may want to add some lighting if the others don't start laying soon.

Days are getting longer, so you should be ok with the 12 hours , as they reach laying age they will lay. 12 to 16 hours are best for laying.
