i got an incubator today a small one, first time incubating eggs!!!!

What type of incubator? If it is a still air incubator (no fan), I would let it get regulated for several days. I fried some eggs on my first hatch because I thought I had it all set and temp was holding great, then... overnight it went to 110 degrees and ruined everything.
Good luck with your hatch. I'm sending you hatching vibes!

its a still air. thanks alot for the info sure dont want to fry the babies! I haven't been in the chicken life long and already loving my babies and chickens, mad at my rooster lol

glad to see you got a bator, but i would give the new bator at least 2 days of running to make sure you have the bugs worked out, and would place a 16 oz bottle of water in there to act like a bator of eggs to get the temp and humidty correct, before i placed any eggs in there. good luck william and if you have any ?'s just pm me and i will try to answer them for i keep 10 LG's going all the time
