Thank you! I was so concerned that I would end up with pink or brown, I only have 2 EE's in my flock. I am so excited to see the color.
I expected the EE's to be some of my last layers, and they are. I'm still waiting for one of them, a BO, and a Wellie to start laying from my spring batch.
I can remain somewhat patient because I have some production reds, BR's and one Bo laying nearly daily.
My Roo, naughty Brady who loves to attack me, is in heaven with all his ladies growing up. I watch him to see if he's paying attention to new girls and happened to notice that my EE was hanging around with him and almost rubbing up against him. He is a great indicator of when I should start to look for new eggs.
