Can I add that if you are feeding Bucks or wethers that you need to feed a Goat feed because you can cause a metabolic imbalace called Urinary Calculi. I have personaly experienced this and almost lost my Boer buck by feeding horse feed. Here is a link that explains it very well: http://www.sheepandgoat.com/articles/urincalc.html
Plus horse feed is not as high in protein as goat feed. You also have to watch what kind of goat feed you buy as there is medicated goat feed you have to keep away from horses as it is deadly for horses.

Fiasco farms has a wealth of info, as well as goatwisdom...i just got my first Nubians and have been reading a ton of stuff...right now i'm feeding Farmer's goat ration, 1c in the eve, mixed hay free choice and crummy dried up browse

Definately worm them soon, and also try to get some goat minerals...i just ordered Sweetlix 16:8 because i've heard it's the best, i wouldn't let the horses eat that though...seems like minerals are very specific for each animal.
I've had one girl for less than 2 weeks and i can tell i'm already hooked...addictive personality? ya probably, but at least its this and not drugs
