Really nice pictures of the puppy/chick, looks like the Pyr is going to be a great watcher for the chicks!
Her parents were guarding chickens, pigs, horses and cows. I hoped she would be a good lgd like them but she wasn't in the best condition when we got her. She had mange, was under weight, too young to leave mom, had worms and a UTI. We had to vet her and fix her up, she needed some major TLC but she has turned out to be a great pup! It irritates me that she came from such a poor place. Gives breeders a bad name and she could have easily been thrown out to guard and never relieved of her itchiness and pain.
