I got my Cayugas :)

I finally found a trio of cayugas. The drake is not the best colored, but for right now I am happy.

Drake is Manhattan, hens are Queens & Brooklyn: I know how creative. lol

Today they finally got to come out of their pen.

I got this good one of my pekins.

They are decent fro hatchery stock, now you just need to hatch babies out, keep the females and breed them to a nice show drake.

I got them from a local person. I didn't get to visit her farm, but bought them from a swap. The drake has orange on his legs and his bill is not solid black. The hens are laying and I want to hatch some. I would love to get a show drake, but I am not sure where to find one of them.

Good point. If you really like the breed and want to improve it, get some cayuga ducklings from Holderreads. We got our originals from them and they have won at many shows.
