That is great! We recieved our hatchlings July 1st, and are checking everyday.

Both my boys have November birthdays... One on the 7th, and one on the 16th... Since the 7th is has passed, we are hoping for a surprise on the 16th. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Like you, I have been checking every day for eggs from my pullets that I purchased as chicks in June. I finally got an egg yesterday! It's small, so I think it's one of the cochin's eggs since one of them was really squatting for me - probably hers. I imagine it's just a matter of time before the other six get started.
