BovieVei - I dont think i will be selling any adult birds. I am going to be selling hatching eggs and I may hatch chicks and ship them if i can make any money that way.
If you want, i can add you to the list for eggs.

sutillman - I hope around mid March I will start selling hatching eggs. The hen may start laying before the rooster becomes fertile so i am going to have to incubate a few batches to make sure they are ok. I am assuming that they will be fine around march. I am really enjoying this breed so far. They are very calm and have settled in great here. I cant wait for that first egg!

Pictures of what cream legbar chicks look like later for those who don't know much about the breed. The auto sexing is very cool
Male chicks will have a white dot on their head and female chicks will have chipmunk stripes

I had a cream Legbar roo boy - here is a pic of him growing up.

His name was Blue ( because he came from a blue egg!) I don;t have him now though as the naighbors complained he was very loud. He went to live at a rare breed farm.

Bit bigger with his mate the cuckoo maran chick.

Starting to get his colours through!

All grown up just before he left - his friend the cuckoo maran also went with him.
