It started about 2 hours ago. A loud and not to be ignored sound comming from my hatcher. I've had this one egg in there that I wasn't sure was going to do anything or not. But this moring there was a pip, and now it was demanding attention. The chick had made a good size hole in the egg but was not zipping. I removed the egg from the hatcher to have a look. After a closer exam it was clear the chick was too big to turn in the shell. I carfully removed the shell from around the air pocket and put it back in the hatcher. About 30 minutes later one of the biggest chick I have ever seen emerged. The big mouth hasn't shut up. It is making it's self know in this world. Soon as it dries off I'll get some pics.
