When we rented from my grand father in law, our trailor had these huge sun windows. I used to sit up on the shelf and open the window (and the screen) and sit there with the feeder in my hand...the hummingbirds didn't care they'd zip right in my house for a sip

It was mostly females and 1-2 males I LOVED IT! one actually pooed out an egg on the shelf though that was kinda gross (but neat to see their little...yet cracked egg).

It's a good thing they are not as big as their attitudes or we'd all be running for cover!

Very first time I saw one, or actually heard it, I had no idea what it was! Flew past me sounding like a truck...zooooooom......I can't believe how much noise they make when flying.

I have a feeder right outside my window where the computer is, they entertain me all day.
