Back in May, we found out that @KikisGirls accidentally got Balut eggs and hatched them successfully. Later in June, I watched A Chick Named Albert's video about how he got some store bought quail eggs to hatch. So I went in search of "exotic" eggs. Pretty much duck, quail, etc. as here in the bay we have "basic" eggs. About 2 weeks ago I got duck eggs. Then last week my hen got sick so I had to borrow a bator. Then I went on vacation and forgot to turn the eggs. 
I came back just Friday at 12 am and I looked at the eggs. I saw great progress in the choock eggs. Then I candled the duckies. I had drawn the air cells so that way I could see the non-existent progress. So then I candled the duckies AND THERE WAS GROWTH IN THE AIR CELLS! I HAVE BABIES!!! Almost all have growth.
