RueRoo beat up my honey hen tonight for eating a tomato worm that I gave her!!!!! I've never killed a chicken in my life, but it's roos like this that certainly cause a girl to grow a pair.

Those are chicken tamales. I made them totally from scratch. Besides raising and processing the roo myself, I made the masa from scratch from a bag of masa flour, water, lard, baking powder, and stirred some canned green chiles in the masa to give it more flavor, and some Knorr chicken soup base. The masa was GREAT!
