I got sunburned and now I need help ... make it go away

PLAIN YOGURT! Just put on a thin layer and when it dries out, put on more. My son had blisters all over his shoulders, & knees to his toes after a day of water rafting in OK Found this on line and we tried it (after he'd used aloe vera leaves, solarcaine, and another lotion which I've forgotten the name of. The yogurt is all we use now when someone has a sunburn. It really works!

Vinegar will take the sting away. You'll still have the heat ... Noxzema is great for that.

Actually i have never been sunburned down here in FL. I am older now and stay out of the sun. But growing up in Philly i burnt all the time. I am like 75 % Irish ans 25% welsch a Celtic nightmare!!!! Light hair, skin and eyes , man i used to get blister's all over~

I didn't get burned at all when I lived in FL either. I think it's because I knew that I would get burned easily.
I'm also fair-skinned (Irish, German, Dutch...among others

) and used to get burned severely! Now I'm just covered in blotchy freckles

LOL, i look outside and burn.....LOL i am super scared of the sun down here vs philly! My kids are always getting sunblock on and i am soooo thankful for the oak tree that gives my tard 70% shade~

I use lavender essential oil in distilled water, keep it in a small spritzer on my fridge door. I use it as a pick me up, when I'm stressed but also on my skin if I get sun burn.
The original dose is below... I adjusted it to fill my spritzer.

15 drops of lavender essential oil to 1 tbsp of distilled water and dab gently over the entire affected area.

It really helps and you don't smell like a salad

Put on some buttermilk with cotton balls or some sterile pads. It cools very well and the enzymes in it will really help your skin to recover fast.
