Oh I’m not hatching eggs... that’s next level stuff. Mine are coming USPS and I got to be at the post office at 6 in the morning. To be so tender, they sure endure some extreme conditions during shipping.I’m getting anxious for you! I wouldn’t sleep at all either not until I make sure all my babies hatch out! I picked up a very noisy box this morning at the post office at 6am. I got home and opened the box to see 8 happy little chicks (all hopefully pullets) looking up at me. I got them in the brooder and dunked them all at the water trough. They started drinking so I had to get ready for work. After breakfast and getting dressed for work, I took food out to them. They were already running around pecking the tiny little bugs that the lamp was attracting! It was hilarious! I got everyone acquainted with crumbles and had to leave. My wife and kids have been checking in and they all seem to be doing well. I’ve always heard they ship extras but I got exactly what I ordered. It’s all good though. I really didn’t want a rooster.
Yay! So glad they got to you safe! It’s nice to have your family helping out while you’re gone. They grow quick and are such cuties. Do you mind me asking what breeds they are if you know?
