The odd colored feathers in them... could that be speckled sussex mix? They are about 4 months old

While the girls were more worried about me taking photos, the rooster took advantage of one:

Hmm...yeah, maybe a RIR/ Speckled Sussex mix.

Hmm..not sure about the odd colored feathers, but I agree it does look like the coloring on my Speckled Sussex...but the girls themselves are dark like a RIR, not the buff-red I've seen NHR's look like...

I've some NHR's on the way and I hope they don't look like RIR's!!!!!!!
