I've had pet birds, I've had canaries and Pekin robins, but the thought of birds in cages is something that does not sit well with me. So I enjoy going out and spot birds in the wild, and that's all I need. And I have a nice place that I can go to to interact with 4 friendly chickens. I feel very blessed!
I'm an active member of https://www.reddit.com/r/whatsthisbird/ because I can identify most European birds, and it's a lot of fun.
