i had 3 quail all died

i had 3 baby chicks in with them do you think thats why they died. chiks were also kind of crowding the quail.

Possibly, I've raised quail with chicks and had no deaths but others have had problems.

Personally I doubt it unless the chicks were smashing them or picking on them. It's possible that they had some disease but most egg-transferable diseases don't 'show up' until the babies are a week old.

What do you mean by "crowding."? If they were trampling or squashing them, then YES, the chicks may have been the cause of death.

How old? Could have been disease transfer, but it also could have been the chickens beating the quail. We need a little more info...

Depends on the breed of quail too, buttons would be crushed fast then a coturnix
