I had a dream last night.

That some how a couple of my chickens escaped the coop and were running around my yard! I could only catch one, Spaz and she wasn’t happy about it either! The other 3 that got out reluctantly came back to the coop but passed out as soon as they got inside! And then I somehow ended up a bird that was a cross between a Cardinal and a chicken! I woke up really confused... lol!

Anyhoo.. TGIF everyone!

That was one heck of a dream!

I had a dream that I was trying a new method of hatching - where you fill your entire incubator with water and the eggs float on top every single one hatched!! Maybe I should try it It's like the water birth of chickens

I once had a dream where all the chickens I had sold the week before (in real life) had returned and they and the rest of my flock's heads kept twisting and falling off. I ran screaming for help, but when I came back they were acting normal and their heads were still intact. Later that day, their heads fell off again.

This is only one of the many chicken nightmares I have had. Glad to know I'm not alone!

Apart from the usual chicken escape dreams...(and that means the chickens escaping from their sheds, not me escaping from the chickens) I have had dreams of opening a shed I forgot about and finding half-dead birds in there, feeling horrible that I'd forgotten about them.

I don't dream very often now, but when I do the majority of the time it's about chickens. And then some odd bizarre dreams about a friend being eaten by a shark that likes Haagen Daz ice-cream.
