I had a pleasant surprise today

Hi all. I've been on here a couple of months. I think I've posted a couple of times but I've read a LOT on here.

Anyway, I unexpectedly won a set of 4 pilgrim goose eggs on Ebay and scrambled to get a coolerbator built before they got here. I made it by two days. They got here on a Friday- were left on my unheated front porch despite me calling the post office and asking them to hold them. When I opened the box, there was an extra egg but two were cracked, so I was down to 3. One went bad two weeks in. So I had two eggs that never moved. I gave up at noon today (day 30). Went back and checked at 7 PM and found this!




There's still one egg in there. I'm kinda hopeful. We'll see.

literally not seeing anything from this one. I'm going to keep it in there just in case until Wednesday then give up for good... Thanks for the kind words.

Give the gosling a stuffed animal to keep it company it's going to be lonesome by it self until other one hatches or doesn't. Hope it does though.
