I had an egg explode on day 18 (today)

I removed the other eggs and bleached the turner and the bottom of my bator. green slime got on a few eggs, but i washed them. Is there anything else i should do?

............................you shouldn't ever wash a egg during incubation, all it does is push the bacteria into the egg allmost allways killing the embryo....

I'm not an expert but I think rinsing the eggs is what I'd have done...

I've had the exact same thing happen before except I just whiped the other few eggs and put em in the hatcher. The eggs that got dirty hatched. Goodluck!

I cant believe how stinky that green slime was. I pray i didnt hurt my eggies by washing them. I did wash in wanter warmer than the egg. ty for replies

Not experienced with bacteria bombs, but common sense makes me think you are fine. Only two to three days until the babies hatch!
