i probably wouldve freaked out if that happened to me although tarantulas are kinda cool spiders but still gross!

and since when are tarantulas small and wild, somebody's released pet's offspring or something? bleh!

Tarantula was gonna be second guess. They are cool.

Have one settled down in a burrow in yard. I see him out at nights sometimes.

Linked pic above is not of "our" tarantula though.... it's a kind of wolf spider in Taranto region in Italy.
