@Lizzyduff Wow-that one bird causing that much strife. I am sure you have tried many things…but maybe try contacting a 4-h club, or county extension office for other poultry clubs, to find someone who could remove him.

I hadn't thought of 4H... wow those are still around? We had one when I was a kid that's a great idea!

Contact your county extension office, they should know what clubs are near by. It is always fun to talk to chicken people.

Give him away to someone who knows how to make coq au vin. I usually advertise my cockerels in the classifieds for free and within a day someone shows up and off he goes. Probably into a pot because they don’t ask if he’s nice or what his breed is or his favorite color or anything. And I don’t ask what seasoning they’re going to use
