I had to cull a three week old chick

I had an Easter Egger chick three weeks old with a scissor beak. My vet last week tried trimming her beak and we tried some muscular exercises but it was pretty severe so I decided to euthanize her today. My daughter is a vet tech for a farm vet who takes care of avians and said there was no coming back from this. It still stinks though .Rest in peace little one.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It's so hard loosing them especially when you get so attached!

Oh I’m sorry to hear this. You did the right thing. Sometimes the most humane and ethical thing to do is euthanasia.
