I go for a walk and end up with this:

Looks like I'll spend the next few days on the couch. Snap.

Oh my gosh ! That makes my ankles hurt :( I did the same thing one time jumping down off a trampoline. Gave the darn thing away a week later.

Hope you feel better soon

Ouch! Put the ice to it and tell Steele he's in charge for a few days. I hate gettin' old, too, but it's better than the alternative!?? ;)

Ow! Bad words ow, even.

My friends worry about me living alone "up here," because I have fallen in the yard a couple of times. Old, uneven concrete steps and patio, everything on a slope. Plus those chickens which mill about at treat time; somebody (with feathers) just might could trip me.

Hope you heal quickly - or have plenty of books to read, movies to watch, etc. In the interim.

I thought the same thing Sourland!! How the heck . . .??

Not to be too preachy . . . . . my young kids have kept me running and playing and I feel younger now than when my first arrived. All about the small changes: use it or loose it, eat the good foods to support the body, and get good sleep. I almost beat my youngest to the car, but then I was fresh and he just finished an hour of soccer. Still it felt great to tie with him!! ( THought my bladder wouldn't hold out !!

hope you heal quickly!

Ouch! How the heck did you manage that?

I had completed groundwork exercises with the horse and was walking him back to the barn when I stepped in a depression in the ground. I felt the tendons stretch and heard the snap (sorta like the cracking of one's knuckles) of a disrupted joint capsule. Once my vision cleared, and the pain was bearable, I limped back to the barn, did the farm chores, then planted my butt on the couch with a bag of ice. Oh, the pretty colors!

With all the ways that you can get hurt with a horse, and you hurt yourself stepping in a hole.

Hope you're feeling better!
