It was time to register DH's car so I went to the dreaded DMV. This time it wasn't the employees that made me want to pull my hair out. It was the idiot in line in front of me. The woman was so ridiculous, and she held up the whole line. She looked like she was in her sixties and was definitely a hippie type (sorry to all hippe types on here). I think she may have had a little too much chemical amusement back in the 60's. She spent 15 minutes arguing with the clerk because she wanted 2 addresses on her registration. She wanted the address where she lived listed on the pink slip because every time she was pulled over and arrested the police would get mad at her if the car wasn't registered to her actual address. But she wanted the county records to have a different address on the computer so that they would send the registration reminder cards to a different address. The clerk asked her why, and she said, "Because I don't think it's fair to kill my dog." The woman was a nut case. The clerk said, "I'm sorry ma'am but I don't see the threat to your dog." The nut case seemed amazed that the clerk didn't know what was going on so she proceded to hold up the line and explain. She said that the post office will no longer deliver mail to her address because the mailman has been bitten so many times by her dog. Of course the dog can't be confined because he needs to be out. The post office was being totally unreasonable in her mind. They told her no deliveries until she gets rid of the dog or euthanizes it. It seems that her son lives with her too and he has had so many run in with the police and they are very mean to him when they pull him over all the time if the address is wrong so it she has had to have her pink slip show her actual residence. And of course if the registration reminder is sent to the home address she won't get it because the mailman is so mean, and she will forget to register it. She forgot to register it and it was expired for 4 months and the poor son got a ticket for that too. It went on and on. The idiot just couldn't understand.

I am just amazed at the stupidity and wierdness of some people. I just wanted to rant and thought you guys might get a laugh out of the nut case.

Okay, lady, out of the gene pool!! Sheesh.

Wow ! At least it had to be entertaining, standing in line at DMV with nothing to do but wait.....

Unfortunately, myself and the others in line were more annoyed than amused. But it does seem funny now. I often wonder how people that stupid manage to survive - or even find their way home for that matter. I suppose they are the reason that there are all those ridiculous product warnings on everything.

The lifeguard must have been off duty when she was conceived. And it is too late to stop her from breeding because she has a son.

I sorta feel sorry for her...having worked in the mental health field in my past, mental deficiences are so darn difficult to live with.

That being said, they really ought to have someone to escort folks out of the line at the DMV....I feel for you, there! What a time waster!
