I hate ice. I hate winter.

I rather have summer than winter anyday marlin.
At least I can spend my days mostly outside... instead of freezing my butt off outside... lol. Can't wait until spring though.
Little baby animals will be running around everywhere!

ME TOO, I totally agree! I feel like a duck with all this rain and snow and everything being WET WET WET ! I live in a hollow so while most people around me are drying out.. I usually still have another week! Where the heck is the SUN anyway???? All I know is it's got 2 weeks! It better show it's shiney hiney!!!
I'm ready for it!

All I can say is, "Amen!" Here in my area of NM we have been having the worst winter that anyone can remember. One storm after another. Thank God we have a little sun in between. The only problem is that as the snow melts it leaves behind MUD which is even harder to deal with.

I think it is the same pretty much everywhere, except in the south. I to am tired of all the snow, and ice. I walked out to the barn, but didn't make it to the barn door because I fell on my hiney, and then could not get up. Then I started hearing bubbling in my toilets, and ran out to the septic system. The pipes are frozen. ($$$$) That is all I saw. I am ready for spring, and summer.

I did the same thing the other day. I was letting the dog out and hit a patch of ice the next thing I knew I was laying flat on my back looking straight up at the sky. I laid there for minute because it all happened so fast. The next day I felt like I got hit by a mack truck and was bruised up pretty bad.

I am so ready for this Winter to be over with, it just seems like it's never going to end. Although today is sunny and we're actually have a heatwave....with a whopping 27 degrees!!

The ice in my yard is horrible !!! I've been taking the pine shavings litter from my brooder chicks and sprinkling it along the path to the run and coops from my back door. It helps a lot !!

We got about 4-5 inches of the stuff last night, after freezing rain. It's ridiculous. My husband couldn't even get the 4WD up the driveway last night, the ice is so bad. I watched through the window, and when he turned the headlights off and got out, I stood out on the porch to shine the spotlight for him and went on my bottom. Knocked the battery out of the spotlight. Thank goodness my husband didn't see me, he'd still be laughing.

We have a pile of snow about 20 feet long and six or seven feet high from plowing just throught the last 3 storms. When it melts, we'll be a mud pit.

My Nana used to say, there's no coincidense that snow and s**t both have 4 letters.

I spent about 45 minutes today spreading a 6-12 inch wide swath of fireplace ash from my garage door to the street. I've got a 1/4 mile long driveway, up hill and it's a sheet of ice!! I only had enough ash to go 3/4 of the way but if the sun stays out long enough maybe I'll be able to walk to the post office without killing myself. Even my dogs slide all over it.

Heck, there were deer tracks a foot long here and there where the poor thing slid on the dusting of snow on top! Oh how I look forward to temps above 32f!!!

I am ready to move south myself. It took me over an hour to shovel my sidewalk and that is only one shovel wide. I couldn't take anymore.

It took over 4 hours to get the cars unburied. We got over 20 inches of snow Sat.
