There's always one...
We had a mamma and her brood in a big bucket turned on its side inside the big coop. The problem we had was getting all the babies up the little ramp to the big coop. DH got tired or having to rangle one or two chicks every night and decided to 'teach' them to climb the ramp. He did it by taking the bucket out the people door, dumping (gently) mamma and babies out on the ground, putting the bucket back in the coop (shutting the people door) and the result was mamma climbing the ramp with all the chicks and all going through the chicken door. It took about 10 times dumping, but it worked! They got the hang of it that night and we never had a problem with them again.
