I have been curiously haunting (lurking) the site for the past 30 days or so, trying to determine what kind of chickens would be best for a first timer.

My DH says I can't keep chickens...after reading this post I have found that silkies are not really chickens. Soooo....come spring I am going to order a flock of ceiling fan dusters!!!

Chickens incognito with all the poofy plumage covering their faces!!! Think I can pull it off?
