I hate the Post Office

Yes the USPS makes mistakes, and sometimes the Automation can damage the package. Eggs are very FRAGILE and to be able to ship the shipper needs to take care in packing. My first few years shipping I had broken eggs, but correct the problem. Also know what eggs can be shipped.

I for one, would like to say a big THANK YOU to the USPS , for letting us ship birds and eggs. They do a good job MOST of the time, and without them it would be so hard to get the new breeds & etc.

Most eggs I received broken were pack poorly. Sure some bad employee in any job

12 eggs were shipped to me last year 9 smashed other 3 dripping I took an old undershirt and cleaned them off 2 of the three hatched. Hope it works for you.

My PO workers are very nice too. She was the one the told me to track the offices it come throw and write a letter to each but she also said it wouldn't do any good just make me feel better. She writting a letter to main office about it and I am too. She also said she would be hoping mad if it happen to her. She will not ship ANYTHING breakable with the PO

Please keep in mind that unless the box was smashed, the breakage is most likely from poor packing.

Always assume that the package will be handled roughly and pack accordingly.
