A lot of them are rude, I skip those, but there are absolute gems in there when I took the time to look.

that sounds like a great place to be! If only there were places where I could get free iced tea!

You're making me drool, all I get at this library is water

And not very good quality water at that!
I love a quiet place where I can get down the business. I know some spots by the Torrens River in the city, it's a busy walking path, but there are some good hangouts.

Public. it's the State Library of SA, where I get free internet

It's a pretty drab place to be, but ever since i stopped buying internet credit for my home computer ($20 a month, it wasn't worth it on what little pay I get) I have nowhere else to go.

I hear ya. The library in my little town is about as exciting as a trip to the dentist. Smells funny, creepy people hanging out there, and some books ain't been touched in years. Kinda sad. And they wanna rebuild it with tax money. Like giving it a facelift will make people wanna spend in there with the creepers!

Cant stop progress I guess.
