I hate this time of night.

Well, basically it's like a workshop or an assembly of all of the people that are signing up for college. They talk about all of the things you need to do to prepare to go back to school. It was meant to show us how easy it will be but to me it kind if made me realize how hard this is gonna be!

then

I'm gonna do the veterinary program! I'm so excited about it! Ever since I graduated high school I have been working jobs off and on that I absolutely hate, so now I just CANNOT wait until I get to work with animals everyday!

My lap is kitty free at the moment. There's a "stranger kitty" on my porch. Don't know where she came from, but she's been wandering up the last few nights and peering in the glass door. I felt bad, so I put a little plate of cat food out for her, so the cats are THRILLED with the new kitty TV and are sitting side by side staring at her through the glass while she eats in paranoia, lol.

Do they make that strange "ack-ack-ack" noise? Mine do something like that where their jaws twitch and they make that noise when they see things move on the other side of the glass.

Perhaps there is a new kitty in your future?

LOL, one of them, the little one, Dolly, does make that sound. She doesn't do it with cats so much, but more at bugs or birds near the window. She'll stand up and do it if there's a bug high on the wall, I always joke that she's "trying to talk him down".

DEFINITELY no kitty in my future!! This has happened a few times, random kitties on the deck. I'm in the back woods and no one bothers to fix their cats, so there's always a few roaming around. I feel bad for them, and this one is particularly pretty, but I have a tiny house and really couldn't afford another cat anyway. I was thinking about getting involved with one of those "catch, fix & release" programs where you live trap the cat, bring it to the vet to be fixed, then release it back in the same area. But that program doesn't operate around here, and I certainly can't afford to do that out of my own pocket, so I just try and at least sneak them some food.

Back when my neighbors had chickens, three of them used to come up onto my deck, and I would wake up and they would be staring at me through the screen door, lol. That was pretty funny. Stupid neighbor never built them a coop though, and 2 out of 3 of them got eaten by predators. When the last one was wandering around my yard I begged my neighbor to let me take her, because I have a nice secure coop. I told him I'd give them all her eggs if they would let me have her, and they agreed.

So at least I saved that one.

Wow, yeah, usually in the holidays, if it wasn't for the news or my trusty day-categorised TV viewing rituals (NCIS Tuesday, No Ordinary Family Mondays, Border Security sundays, Two and a half men every other day...) I would have no idea of the day either. Happened when we went camping. I thought it was Tuesday, then found out to my great surprise that we were actually leaving that day because it was Friday.

Wow, that sounds awesome Aubrey! Getting into something you're really passionate about it just the bomb.
I'm a bit worried about that actually, I'll be graduating in only a couple years...

That's a pretty scary thought. I'm terrified of falling into that rut of sitting at home watching TV and eating leftovers. Never been that good with job interviews
