my black java hen had been on the nest for two weeks and I needed to put my 5 turkey eggs and 4 ginen eggs under her so I can put my java eggs in the bater. well she peck at the poor chick and it was bleding out and it was cold from being out. I was more worred that it will die from the cold then the attack the hen did! she is not going to have chicks for a long time!!! it was my
I wait till the hens are at lest 3-4 weeks on the nest but I thuot she was good to go. so I put the eggs under my hen jade and I take the chicks and put them in the box with a light. she had cohins chicks, until she hatch what is there for the eggs.
