Sorry about your Polish... they're a funny breed aren't they? the cats from next door have always been afraid of my birds too, but a stink eye and a warning growl usually sends them running away yowling.

Ugh I've been wanting a polish FOREVER and the day infinally found one the dog out of nowhere decides to be a chicken killer. Go figure. Little thing was cute as all hell, too.

And don't feel bad about not wanting to deal with loans. Im 34 and just bought my first house and first new truck this past year. Call me a late bloomer, but I lived pretty frugal all my life. I hate fooling with interest rates, loans and, worst of all, realtors and salespeople. But I had to do it. Seems like nobody takes cash anymore.

I would not call you a late bloomer! 34 is a NICE age to buy your first home!

Think so? I felt a little left behind. Some of the girls I work with are ny age and theyre BUILDING they're 2nd home. I wish I could do that. Of course these are people who are married too. Life is rough when you got no one to split bills with.

my mother wants an investment home. She has $5000 in the First home Saver account, and is procrastinating badly.
