I have 27 hens of all different breeds, they are all new hens from this spring so they are about 8 months old, It seems I should be getting about 2 dozen a day not a half dozen? Please tell me what I could be doing wrong.....[IMG]

Everything I have learned says depending on breed, region, age and weather/amount of daylight hours that determines egg laying. Also, stress, proper protein diet and water. Age isn't the same for every chicken to determine laying and some breeds can be later bloomers. I'm not sure but depending on when you got them and at what age (mine are from April and are about 27 wks now) you could have eggs any day.

Sorry I'm not more help. [IMG]
