I have three BA pullets and they all have different comb sizes and different amounts of redness in their combs and waddles. they are supposed to be exactly the same age. I guess they do just mature at stlightly different rates.
Mine are 15 weeks, and I am SO very jealous that you are getting eggs already. I can hardly wait! They ARE lovely, chickens, aren't they? I LOVE that beetle-green sheen to their feathers when they are in the sun. And I like their dark eyes, too.
