I know a lot of variables go into determining the best roo for the job of flock master, and father for my future fluffy butts. But I have been in love with this guy since he was 4 weeks old. I knew he was a roo that day, while the others hid their secret from me a lot longer.

Introducing, FlockMaster and Commander Russell Crowes
(incidentally, he does not yet crow, at 13 weeks)

Good luck with the new cockerel. He will make some mistakes along the way just be patient with him. A good roo makes the flock & eases some pressure of predator attacks no guarantee but there's is no guarantees in life.
