I have
Black copper marans
Blue laced red wyandottes
Barred rocks/black sex links
Rhode island reds
New Hampshire reds
Easter eggers

They live together now but by spring I want them separate with housing and runs coming off the housing units. Can anyone give me some ideas? Maybe pics of what you do? Thanks!

we typically have put in Breeding trios of standards and have comfortably had groups of 8 bantams in them, the back is 4 feet by 4 feet. using the very min space req. you can put 8 std chickens (2 sq. feet per bird) in there but 4-6 depending on the breed would be more appropriate.

if you would like the plans are available free at http://learningstore.uwex.edu/Pasture-Poultry-Ark-P1439.aspx , scroll down a touch and click on the view pdf and print.

I also forgot with siding and all new materials it is $2-300.

Here is our original breeder shed

Out grew that very fast so we have been using these in addition to the coop breeders

What are the details on the breeder shed?
Over all Size, number of pens, and size of each pen and run? Please, I really like the look of your set up was wanting to do something similar.
