I have a 26 week old BSL with a very tiny comb is this normal?

I have used this pic before, and it was taken a good month or more ago, but she looks the same! Is this unusal? The other three, all hatched same time are laying. It bothers me that she is not maturing like the others, but what I can I do?

They don't get very big combs. Has she started laying? They will get a little bigger and redder before she lays. I only had one that had a large comb.

No she is not laying, not even squatting.

They are a mixed breed chicken, and even a "pure" breed will have individual variations. so no, the small comb is nothing to worry about, and I'll bet she will lay when she is ready. Maybe she has more genes from a breed that normally lays later than the others.
