you can break a egg open and make sure its fertile, (not the ones under them, ones you got from the coop that are in the refrigerator.) if you dont know how I can give you a link, or if you could get a good pic of the white dot on the yolk.

Thank you happy hens. I have checked several eggs and many have been fertile. There are some that I couldn't tell, so I figure they werent. I just don't trust hy rooster's consistency....or his favoritism with one particular hen.

Yes, I can relate to that, half my eggs are fertile, half are not. My current broody has 9 of my neighbors eggs under her, and 3 off mine ( I diddent wanna put to many of my eggs under her because my rooster doesnt mate em all) well all 12 of my eggs are forming, even mine

I took the chances and they all turned fertile, Good luck
